1 big – avocado, fully ripe
1 small – onion, finely chopped
1 small – tomato, finely chopped
2 – green chillies, finely chopped
2 tablespoons – cilantro, finely chopped
1 tablespoon – extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon – lime juice
1 teaspoon – salt
1 teaspoon – crushed black pepper
4 slices – bread, cut in desired shape (I have used multi grain sour dough bread)
1.Make a deep cut around the entire avocado lengthwise. Hold it between your hands, twist the two cut halves and pull apart. Spoon out the seed and keep aside.
2. Now, spoon out the flesh or peel off the skin.
3. Mash the avocado coarsely with a fork, or your fingers.
4. Add the rest of the ingredients, except the bread and mix well.
5. Toast the bread in a toaster or on a griddle till its crispy. Spread the guacamole on the toast and gobble it up.
Refrigerate the left-over guacamole with the seed in the same bowl covered with cling. The seed helps to keep the green colour of the avocado intact.
